The road that lead me down the massage therapy path has been a long and winding journey! I have had an interest in massage therapy from a very young age, but I never saw it as a viable career until I was much older. Throughout high school and college, I found myself flitting from one future to the next. Whether I was determined to write the next great American novel, or see my name in lights on Broadway, I always kept coming back to one dream...being a massage therapist. In 2012, I finally took the leap and went to school at Eagle Gate College. It was there that I found that I not only had a interest, but a passion for healing through bodywork.
Since starting my own business in October of 2013, I have found that the body is much more powerful than we give it credit for. I believe the secrets to stress relief, healing and pain management can be unlocked through professional bodywork and massage. Regular massage has been shown to not only benefit a person physically, but emotionally and mentally. The human body and psyche need physical touch in the same way we need water. It nourishes our mind and body, keeping us ready for anything life could throw at us!
"When you touch a body, you touch the whole person, the intellect, the spirit, and the emotions." - Jane Harrington
